This presentation presents an introduction to microfinance's entrance into the capital markets space. It specifically discusses how investors' methods for capital investments are significantly different than donors' methods; investors as a market and their expectations; MFIs typical behaviors and barriers to accessing investment; new possible approaches to tapping investor capital; and case studies of MFIs successfully accessing investment.
